Dakota Koel serves as the Regional Thrift Store Manager. He has four children whose ages range from 7 to 20. Dakota is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University and is a classically trained chef; his passion for cooking has been a constant in his life since childhood.

 

Having been with Suncoast for almost three years, Dakota began his journey as the store manager of ETS. His dedication and hard work led to his promotion to regional manager just eight months later.

 

A proud cat dad, Dakota has had cats throughout his life and intends to continue this tradition. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing guitar, engaging in Dungeons and Dragons, and exploring other nerdy interests.

 

Dakota finds great joy in managing the thrift stores, as it provides him with a firsthand perspective on how their business supports not only animals but also the community. He appreciates the opportunity to offer affordable goods and services, especially during challenging times, such as the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.

 

Interestingly, Dakota was a published poet in the International Library of Poetry at the age of 15, and he continues to write poetry today, embracing this creative outlet.
